Made by Curious Hands

Wood has a mind of its own. Cloth isn't much different. We spend our days persuading both into becoming something useful, beautiful, and just a little bit unexpected.

The workshop smells faintly of timber, coffee and the occasional "that wasn't supposed to happen." There are hand planes sharper than our pencils, needles that mysteriously vanish, and offcuts that insist on becoming something entirely different from the original plan.

Every piece begins with curiosity. A striking grain pattern. An interesting weave. A sketch scribbled in the margin of a notebook. Then comes the slow part—the measuring, cutting, carving, stitching, sanding, unpicking, refining and, eventually, standing back with a mug of coffee to decide whether it's finally finished.

We don't rush things. We don't make hundreds of the same object. We'd much rather spend an extra hour perfecting a joint, choosing the right board, or finding the thread that's exactly the right shade.

We choose materials with stories to tell—beautiful hardwoods, natural fibres and textiles that age gracefully, gather character and are made to be lived with. The hope is simple: that the things we make become part of your everyday rituals, growing more familiar and more loved with every passing year.

If you're after flat-pack and factory perfect, there are plenty of places for that. If, however, you find yourself running your hand along a well-finished edge or admiring the tiny irregularities that prove a human made it, welcome—you've found your people.
